Snowy Station - 03:18

Platform seven, breath in white
Small suitcase knocking my knee tonight
Paper cup steam in my hand
Hot chocolate, I spill a little on my plans

The board keeps changing its mind
But I don’t mind
People in scarves drift by
And they grin like

Snowy station, snow you know
I’m running, running, let it go
Hot chocolate, hold me close
Strangers smile, and off we go
Snowy station, snow you know
One more train and we’re back on road
Hot chocolate, hold me close
Strangers smile, and off we go

A man with mittens held the door
A kid laughed hard and asked for more
I said “thank you” with a nod
Like this whole mess was some good luck I got

The board keeps changing its mind
But I don’t mind
Hands and footsteps passing by
And they grin like

Snowy station, snow you know
I’m running, running, let it go
Hot chocolate, hold me close
Strangers smile, and off we go
Snowy station, snow you know
One more train and we’re back on road
Hot chocolate, hold me close
Strangers smile, and off we go

My suitcase rattles, my heart does too
A little lost, but I’m okay with you
In this cold, we glow for a second
Then the next train comes like a blessing

Snowy station, snow you know
I’m running, running, let it go
Hot chocolate, hold me close
Strangers smile, and off we go
Snowy station, snow you know
One more train and we’re back on road
Hot chocolate, hold me close
Strangers smile, and off we go
